The Annual Juried Student Competitive Exhibition is open to all UCA students free of charge, and features cash awards provided by the UCA Department of Art to recognize excellence. The Department of Art faculty selects a guest juror who then selects approximately 50 pieces for the exhibition. The award-winning art works and artists are recognized at the opening reception which is free of charge and open to the public.
The entry all-call for submission of works in all media is distributed in mid-February; the competitive exhibition usually takes place in March.

entry is FREE to all current UCA students
up to 3 entries are eligible for consideration
eligible work: recent collegiate art work in
all media made spring/summer/fall 2009,
and Spring 2010
work must be installation ready (safe to install
complete w/ hanging wire or directions
and/or equipment needed for presentation)
labeled work and completed entry form are
delivered to the baum gallery, mccastlain
hall (west wing), between 10 am thurs mar 4
and the DEADLINE: 5pm fri mar 5
